If you can't ride the motorbike for a while, nothing will happen to the Mapit: the battery will only gradually discharge, returning to its normal level once you resume regular use of the vehicle.
The internal battery of the Mapit will allow it to function for up to 4 weeks, depending on the charge level at the time of the last ride, the device model, and the alert settings.
