What model of Mapit device do I have and how does it transmit data?

Mapit has different models depending on the connectivity technology they use to transmit location data:

• Series 300 : Uses a GSM (2G) network for data transmission. This is our current main series.
• Series M400 and M500 : New devices with 4G LTE technology that offer faster data transmission.

The model you receive depends on availability at the time of your order. Regardless of the model, all our devices offer the same GPS tracking functionality.
