How is my device battery charged?

Your Mapit device charges automatically while your vehicle is in motion:

• Automatic charging : No need to plug anything in — it charges from the vehicle’s movement
• Charging time : Between 1 and 2 hours of riding for a full charge
• Recommended minimum use : Ride for at least 1 hour per week to keep the battery charged
• Protection : The system stops charging automatically if it detects high temperatures

To maximise your battery’s lifespan, use your vehicle regularly (at least 1 hour per week) and place the device in a ventilated area, away from heat and moisture. Monitor the battery level in the app and, if it’s low, increase your riding time to recharge it.
